N.J.H.S. Tutoring The National Junior Honor Society will be tutoring 1st & 2nd grade students. Tutoring will be offered on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month. It will take place after school from 3:05-3:45 in Mrs. Toranto’s classroom. After tutoring, students may be picked up in front of the gym. Students who are not picked up by 3:55 will be sent to aftercare. If you would like your child to participate, please print the permission slip, complete it, and return it to your child’s teacher no later than the Monday before the tutoring date. SCHOOL OPENING 9/6/18 Good Afternoon Parents, Praise God that we were spared from any injuries, loss of life or property damage associated with Tropical Storm Gordon. A family in Florida was not as fortunate. I encourage you to take a moment to pray for that family who lost their child as a result of the storm and take a second moment to thank God for protecting our children from a similar fate. God gave us two more days with our children and we should be appreciative of that gift. We will resume full school operations at both the main campus and early childhood development center campus on Thursday, September 6, 2018. This includes Extended Care (morning and evening) and planned extracurricular activities. Please stay abreast of developing storms in the Atlantic as we may find ourselves in a similar position in the near future.
